Such a camera would contain following details:
The camera is based on a synchronous curtain shutter with a shutterspeed range of 1/20 to 1/2000.
Shutter winding with the film transport for one frame mechanical, with rapid winding lever. The frame counter is automatic, resets to zero when the back cover of the camera is opened.
The back door is hinged to the right side, the door lock is combined with the film rewind knob.
The camera does not have a built-in rangefinder. The accessory shoe for installing an external viewfinder is located on the top surface of the camera on the same vertical axis as the frame window (this excludes horizontal parallax).
The front of the camera is a removable panel with a lens mount. The panel is secured with four screws. The panel can be replaced with another one at any time without the need to unload film. The panel has no linkage to the camera.
The camera controls are:
- Winding lever (top right corner of the camera)
- rewind knob (top left corner of the camera)
- Shutter speed dial (top right, to the right of the accessory shoe), rewind button (bottom right)
- Shutter release button (right above, to the right of the shutter speed
head) - Add-on viewfinder, mounted on accessory shoe
There are options for viewfinders with fixed values of the angle of view, or a universal version with frames corresponding to different focal lengths, or a
universal zoom viewfinder.
The camera has an electronic rangefinder, which has two display modes. The first mode: rangefinder with sound signals, tells the photographer the direction of focusing of the lens and the moment of focusing.
Second mode: visible indication in the field of view of the viewfinder (in fact, the indication is carried out by the camera, with the indication projected into the interchangeable viewfinder).
The electronic rangefinder uses a small digital matrix for measurement, located in the frame window on a movable lever. When the shutter is wound on, the matrix is entered into the frame window, when the shutter is released before it fires, the matrix is out of the frame window.
Metering the proper exposure is possible, with the display of the shutter speed on an LCD screen located at the top, to the left of the viewfinder.
The shutter speed dial rotates, with the value set after the shutter is wound. located to the right of the viewfinder. The shutter dial has fixed positions at standard shutter speeds. But it is also possible to set intermediate shutter speed values.
